Material Delivery Across Central North Dakota

Dakota Earthworks delivers gravel, aggregate, fill dirt, and topsoil to residential, commercial, and agricultural sites throughout Central North Dakota. Whether you need a few loads of road gravel for a driveway, topsoil for a new lawn, or a large volume of fill for a construction project, we handle the haul and can spread it on site with our own equipment.

We work with local pits and suppliers to source the right material for your application, and we can handle delivery to sites with challenging access just as easily as wide open ground. One contractor, no coordinating between multiple trucks and operators.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know how much material I need?

The general formula is: length × width × depth (in feet), divided by 27 for cubic yards. For gravel and aggregate, multiply cubic yards by roughly 1.4 to get tons. Call us with your dimensions and we'll calculate it for you — getting the quantity right on the first order saves time and money.

Do you deliver to rural properties with limited road access?

Yes. We're accustomed to working at rural properties with seasonal or rough access roads. We'll talk through site access when you call so there are no surprises on delivery day.

Can you spread the material after delivery?

Yes — we can spread and grade delivered material with our own equipment in the same visit. This is often the most efficient approach rather than dropping material in a pile and scheduling a separate spreading visit.

What's the minimum delivery size?

Our end dump truck hauls roughly 15 tons per load. Smaller quantities can sometimes be arranged depending on proximity and scheduling, but most deliveries are in full or near-full load increments for efficiency.

Can you combine a delivery with excavation or grading work?

Absolutely — combining material delivery with site grading, driveway work, or other earthwork in the same mobilization is common and efficient. We can quote the full scope together.
