Nate grew up in Minnesota with deep family roots in Carrington, North Dakota. After earning his education in Diesel Technology, his ability to repair and understand heavy equipment from the ground up quickly turned into a passion for operating the machines themselves. Nate went on to work at Falkirk Mine in the Dewatering and Utility Department, where he developed a deep expertise in water mitigation and shaping land to shed natural water in an environmentally responsible way — a skill set that sits at the core of everything Dakota Earthworks does today.
With over a decade of hands-on experience, Nate brings a rare combination of mechanical know-how and real-world site knowledge to every project. His approach is straightforward: show up, do it right, and leave the land better than you found it.
